Thank you to all those who completed the questionnaire last week, and forwarded information on whether or not you had heard from your local authority and the new food regulations.
We have since been in contact with various government departments on this issue, resulting in the Tourism Minister's office contacting us in order to assist.
B&B's and Farmstays have always been low risk in terms of food regulations and so we were not seen as "stakeholders" and not involved in the development of the new regulations; hence our surprise. Its obvious we now have to get to work on it on your behalf.
Please find attached a summary of the responses to the questions we asked, divided into Council areas.
