TNSW Family Summer Holiday Promotion
Tourism NSW have announced they are running a Family Summer Holiday Promotion, and BBFNSW-ACT members are invited to participate.
A series of print, radio, television and online promotions/competitions to drive traffic to their website to promote great Family Summer Holiday offers and packages will be developed.
The promotional campaign will focus on “affordable and value for money holiday experiences” in NSW. Campaign pages on www.visitnsw.com will promote the holiday experiences available in NSW and operator offers will be uploaded to the site from November 2008.
HOW TO BE INVOLVED
There is no cost to the industry to participate: the focus is on showcasing product on visitnsw.com (accommodation, attractions etc) and through promotional prize campaigns.
Holiday Options/Offers
Opportunity: Promote your product on the “Summer Family Holiday” pages on visitnsw.com and leverage the promotional activities undertaken by Tourism NSW.
Action & Timeframe: Complete the Offer Form attached and return it to Tourism NSW by Tuesday, 4 November 2008.
Validity: All offers provided are required to be valid to 27 January 2009 however conditions and exclusions can apply e.g. not valid from 24/12/08 to 10/1/09 and subject to availability etc
Promotional Opportunity - Provide a Prize
A key component is publicity and promotional activities to drive people to visitnsw.com by offering consumers the chance to WIN a Family Holiday. Tourism NSW is negotiating with media partners to develop promotional opportunities to support the campaign e.g. radio, television and print.
Opportunity: Gain exposure of your product and leverage the promotional activities undertaken by Tourism NSW.
Requirement: It is preferable for prize packages to be for a minimum of two nights for a family of 4 and if possible include an experience (attraction/tour).
Action & Timeframe: Complete the “Summer Family Holiday ” promotional campaign prize form attached and return it to Tourism NSW by Tuesday, 4 November 2008.
Validity: Prizes are not required to be valid over the Summer Holiday season however will need to be valid during other school holiday periods (subject to availability and booking conditions).
