We travel to the UK regularly and use the AA B&B Guide to arrange all our bookings. We thoroughly enjoy staying at B&Bs as we feel more comfortable. The big hotel chains can be quite impersonal. As the hosts are local they offer great suggestions for tours, dining and services.

Friendly relaxed conversation hosts have with guests whilst cooking them breakfast, and nightly gift of nightcap and hand made chololates which are left beside your bed at many B&Bs also open fire places are gorgeous, plus we can't forget the cake and home brewed coffee that often just appears.
