BBFNSW Association - Privacy Statement

The Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay NSW & ACT Association has a strong commitment to protecting the privacy of all people with whom it comes into contact - either casually, via this website, or its members. The Association is aware of the purpose of the Commonwealth of Australia's Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the New South Wales Privacy Act and it is the association's policy to meet the relevant requirements of each Act.

The Association may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with its own server, and to administer the web site.

The Association does collect email addresses from site visitors who elect to opt-in to the newsletter. The newsletter email list is used to send you information, news, and details of offers in the Bed & Breakfast and Farmstay Accommodation industry in NSW and the ACT. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings at any time by following the instructions at the bottom of each emailed newsletter.

The Association collects names and postal addresses of those who request a complimentary copy of the "Guide to Bed and Breakfast and Farmstay Accommodation in NSW & ACT ("Egg Book"). This information is necessary to be able to send the publication and is not used for any other purpose.

Persons purchasing Accommodation Gift Vouchers will be required to provide a postal address for delivery and other information pertinent to an e-commerce transaction. This is done through a secure server to ensure confidentiality of such information.

The Association does not provide any email addresses, personal information or raw data associated with casual contacts made via this website to third parties. Security processes and techniques are in use to ensure that such personal information is kept securely.
